The hospitality group Gondwana Collection Namibia introduced The Ekipa, an all-inclusive retreat designed for two, located about six miles south of Etosha National Park's Andersson Gate. The property marks the latest addition to the company's high-end Secret Collection, offering guests a private sanctuary amid mopane woodlands near Namibia's premier wildlife destination.

The exclusive retreat draws inspiration from the ekipa -- traditional ornamental buttons worn by Namibian women -- and combines cultural heritage with contemporary design. Its architecture features distinctive curved lines and textured panels that echo pangolin scales, creating a bold presence in the landscape.

"The design of The Ekipa was inspired by the landscape, culture and history of Namibia," said Alain Noirfalise, operational director at Gondwana Collection Namibia. "We wanted to create something that felt timeless. a structure that honors the community and heritage of the region while blending harmoniously with the surrounding environment."

The Ekipa provides easy access to Etosha's wildlife experiences while offering complete privacy. The property joins Gondwana's portfolio of intimate retreats across Namibia, including Desert Whisper near Sossusvlei and The Pearls Beach Pods in Swakopmund.
