Stargazing with a guide is one of many new family activities at Lepogo Lodges' Noka Camp.

Lepogo Lodges' Noka Camp, one of Africa's few entirely not-for-profit safari lodges, has announced it will start offering an exciting array of new child-friendly activities.

The luxurious safari camp, set within the nearly 125,000-acre, malaria-free Lapalala Wilderness Reserve and home to the Big Five, has introduced activities such as fun-fueled treasure hunts around the lodge, bush baking activities, mindful pottery making, trinket crafting, bush painting and jewelry making. At night, families can learn about the stars under the expert guidance of the in-house astrologer.

Home to more than 60 mammal species, Lepogo Lodges' private game drives are led by an in-house expert ranger. Travelers can expect to spot rhinos, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, elephants and more as well as some of the 300 different bird species inhabiting the reserve.

Noka Camp consists of five stilted villas, including one villa especially designed for families. The villas are joined by a main lodge comprising a dining room, bar, lounge area and sprawling outdoor terrace, all perched atop a 100-foot cliff overlooking the winding Palala River below and the endless bush ahead. The camp is entirely off-grid, with all energy generated by a bespoke solar walkway.

Nightly rates at Lepogo Lodges start at about $950 per person, per night for a Luxury Clifftop Villa on an all-inclusive board basis, for stays booked to travel before December.

Lepogo Lodges' Noka Camp cannot accommodate children under 10 years old unless the camp is exclusively booked. For more information or to make a reservation, visit www.lepogolodges.com or email info@lepogolodges.com.
