Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is expanding its fleet with the addition of three new ships on Europe's rivers in 2027.
Uniworld announced Monday that the trademarked Super Ships will be inspired by the destinations they sail through. Itineraries are not yet available, but the ships will cruise the Rhine, Main, Danube and Douro rivers.
"2027 will mark an extraordinary milestone for Uniworld as we complete our transformation into a fully Super Ship fleet with the addition of three incredible newbuilds," CEO Ellen Bettridge said. "Our focus has never been on simply adding more ships, but on continually raising the bar on the luxury river cruise experience. These new vessels will embody our unwavering commitment to innovation and craftsmanship, delivering something truly unparalleled for our valued guests — where no detail is too small."
Uniworld promised in its announcement that the new ships will be "the pinnacle of luxury," complete with the highest quality materials, including custom fabrics, handcarved wood and marble floors. The ships will display artwork commissioned for the ship or by famous artists.
The vessels will feature more space, including additional suites and dining venues. The newbuilds will be inspired by prominent figures with connections to the regions where the ships sail.
Uniworld debuted the S.S. Victoria last year and will launch the S.S. Elisabeth this year. The S.S. Emilie will debut next year. In addition to Europe, Uniworld cruises in Egypt, India, Peru and Vietnam and Cambodia.
