Caesars Entertainment is rebranding The Cromwell, partnering with reality TV personality and entrepreneur Lisa Vanderpump to transform the Las Vegas Strip property into The Vanderpump Hotel.

The Cromwell, located at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, will undergo a complete renovation beginning this summer, with completion targeted for early next year.

The move builds on several partnerships between Vanderpump and Caesars Entertainment, with the pair teaming up to launch food and beverage concepts like the Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace, Vanderpump a Paris at the Paris Las Vegas, Wolf by Vanderpump at the Harveys Lake Tahoe and the recently opened Pinky's by Vanderpump at the Flamingo Las Vegas.

The latest project is Vanderpump's first venture in the hotel sector.

The Cromwell's redesign will be helmed by Vanderpump's design company, Vanderpump Alain, which she operates alongside her partner, Nick Alain. Plans call for a revamp of The Cromwell's reception area and all 188 guestrooms and suites, plus a new lounge venue.

According to Caesars, the hotel's 40,000-square-foot casino floor will have a "new feel."

Vanderpump said she plans to "breathe new life" into the hotel and "develop this iconic location into something unique, playful and upscale."

The Cromwell will continue to operate during the transformation. The property is currently home to Giada De Laurentiis' restaurant Giada, the Bound lobby bar, the Interlude casino lounge, Drai's Beachclub and Nightclub, Drai's After Hours and a Caesars sportsbook.

Caesars Entertainment opened The Cromwell in 2014, calling it the Strip's first standalone luxury lifestyle boutique hotel. Before it was gutted and overhauled, the building was home to Bill's Gambling Hall & Saloon. The building opened in 1979 as the Barbary Coast Hotel & Casino.

Vanderpump first rose to fame on the Bravo TV series "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." She is also known for her spinoff show, "Vanderpump Rules."
