Virgin Voyages cruisers will discover new entertainment on the Brilliant Lady, the line's fourth ship debuting in New York City in September.

Seven original productions will range from a high-energy musical revue through the decades from Virgin Records to a time-traveling comedy that weaves in music, fashion, flappers and acrobatic cavemen. Both shows will be performed in The Red Room theater.

In the ship's nightclub-style venue The Manor, the line will put on a new Supper Club show inspired by the Roaring '20s, a murder mystery and soulful duets across various generations and genres of music -- Motown, classic rock and contemporary ballads.

Also new this fall will be a dance party with fluorescent accents, neon face paint and a jellyfish parade. The ship will also put on a reimagined disco show with sequins, flared pants and acrobatics.

The new entertainment comes as Virgin Voyages notes a high number of repeat guests who sail with the brand -- as many as 60% of on some sailings.

Virgin Voyages has also reimagined its Scarlet Night party in the Red Room on nights that are too cold to be by the pool with an indoor version of the party. And, Virgin said it is bringing back its acrobatic flagship performance "Duel Reality," featuring a modern take on Romeo and Juliet.

The Brilliant Lady was originally expected to debut at the end of 2023 but its introduction was delayed to allow demand to catch up with capacity.

Entering service in September, the ship will sail cruises from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal to Bermuda and Canada/New England through October before repositioning to the Caribbean for the winter season. The ship will then depart Miami for a Panama Canal crossing to Los Angeles in March before cruising up the coast for a summer season in Alaska.

Canceled sailings on Valiant Lady

Virgin Voyages has canceled cruises out of Puerto Rico on the Valiant Lady during the 2025-2026 winter season in the Caribbean. The affected sailings to the Southern Caribbean included cruises scheduled to depart Nov. 22 and Dec. 2, 2025, and Jan. 31 and Feb. 10, 2026.

Affected guests can move their bookings to similar sailings that depart between November 2025 and February 2026 on the same ship. The line is offering a $100 onboard credit per person for passengers who move their bookings.

Guests who do not rebook will receive a full refund in the form of cash or a future cruise credit. Those who receive an FCC and book sailings from Puerto Rico aboard the Valiant Lady within 60 days will also receive $100 per person in onboard credit.
